Hua Hin
Hua Hin lies approximately two and a half hours drive south of Bangkok and now has an airport with direct flights from Bangkok. It is a resort long favoured by the ‘old families’ of Thailand and from its beginnings as a small fishing village near the residence of the King of Thailand, Hua Hin has developed into an up market resort yet retains its atmosphere of peace, tranquillity and warm Thai hospitality. There are many good restaurants serving seafood and a wonderful shopping centre and night market, you can hardly believe the cheap prices. Beautiful white sandy beaches run the length of Hua Hin and horse and elephant riding are available along them. There are seven world class golf courses located near Hua Hin and interesting tours can be arranged to national parks, waterfalls, caves etc.
